About alarmticar
Last updated: 2026-10-07
alarmticar is a browser-based collection of simple time tools. You open a page, use the tool, and leave. The pages are static documents on alarm.ticaregroup.com, and the interactive parts run in your browser.
What alarmticar provides
The site currently offers the tools that are linked below. Nothing else is presented as a finished product. If a page is not in this list, it is not part of alarmticar today.
Time tools: Alarm, Timer, Stopwatch, Countdown, Clock, World Clock, and Time Zone Converter. Calculators: Date calculator, Age calculator, and Hours calculator.
An alarm is a time of day on this device. A timer counts down a duration. A stopwatch measures elapsed time and laps. A countdown runs toward a date you choose. The clock shows this device's current time. The world clock shows the current local time in cities you pick. The time zone converter shows one city's date and time as the same moment in another city, including daylight saving time when that zone observes it.
The date calculator finds the span between two dates or adds and subtracts days, weeks, months, and years. The age calculator turns a birth date into an age on a date you choose. The hours calculator measures the time between two clock times on a schedule, including a break you enter. It is a duration tool, not a wage or payroll calculator.
Designed for everyday use
The tools are meant for ordinary timekeeping. People use them to mark a study block, a work interval, a set of exercise rounds, or a step in cooking. A countdown can sit beside a trip, a deadline, or an event. A clock is there when you want a large readable time without opening another application.
The world clock and the converter are for meetings, travel, and remote work. You choose the cities. The site does not guess where you are. The calculators answer how far apart two dates are, how old someone is, or how long a shift runs after a break. The site is not scheduling, payroll, medical, or aviation software.
How alarmticar works
Pages are built as static HTML and served as files. When a tool needs to calculate, it does that in the browser. alarmticar does not run an application database, and it does not receive the numbers you type into a calculator.
The clock follows the clock of your computer or phone. The world clock and the time zone converter use IANA time zone names, such as Asia/Seoul or America/New_York, together with the Intl data in your browser. They format a real moment in a named zone. They do not treat a city as a fixed number of hours from UTC for the whole year. They do not use IP geolocation, GPS, or the browser Geolocation API.
Default cities follow the language of the page. English world-clock and converter pages start from a fixed English set of cities. Korean pages start from a fixed Korean set. After the converter loads, its source date and time are the current moment expressed in the source city's zone.
An alarm or a timer can make a sound only while the page is still allowed to run. Closing the tab, sleeping the device, or a browser that pauses background pages can stop the sound. Those limits are part of using a web page as a timer. The Terms and the Disclaimer describe them in more detail.
Privacy-conscious design
You do not create an account, and there is no profile. The date calculator, age calculator, hours calculator, and time zone converter do not save what you type. A reload clears those inputs.
Some tools keep a local copy so the page can restore itself. That can include alarm times and labels, a timer, a stopwatch, a countdown title and target, study-timer steps, clock display choices such as theme and dimming, and the cities you added on the world clock. The copy stays in this browser. It is not sent to an alarmticar server, because there is no server that stores tool entries.
Public pages load Google AdSense. The Privacy page describes that script, browser storage, and what the site does not collect. Read that page for the precise account of data on the device.
Accuracy and limitations
alarmticar is a general-purpose utility. It is not a legal filing system, a bank, a medical record, a payroll desk, or a safety alarm for a workplace or a home. Results are only as good as the device clock, the browser's time zone data, and the values you enter.
Daylight saving rules and civil time zones change when governments change them. Your browser may not have the newest rule on the day it changes. The converter accepts years from 1900 through 2100 and still depends on the time zone data in that browser. Old dates are not a promise of historically perfect rules.
If a result matters, check it another way before you rely on it. If missing an alarm would cause harm, do not use this website as the only alert.
