Terms of Use

Last updated: 2026-10-07

These terms apply when you use alarm.ticaregroup.com. They are written in plain language so you can see what the site is offering. They are not a law-firm template, and they do not name a company, a court, or a country as the operator's legal home. That information is not published because it is not part of this site's confirmed identity.

Acceptance

Using the site means you are using it on these terms. If you do not want them, do not use the site. You do not click an "I agree" button, and you do not create an account. Opening a page is enough to be using the site.

The Privacy page explains data and advertising. The Disclaimer explains the limits of the results. Those pages are separate documents. These terms are the conditions of use.

Service description

alarmticar is a browser-based collection of time utilities. The current tools are an alarm, a timer, a stopwatch, a countdown, a clock, a world clock, a time zone converter, a date calculator, an age calculator, and an hours calculator. Each one is a page you use in the browser.

The site is a general utility. It is not a certified time service, a payroll system, or an emergency notification network. Features can be added, changed, or removed.

No account required

You can use the public pages without registering. There is no username, no password, and no customer profile. Settings that survive a reload are stored in your browser, not in an alarmticar account.

Because there is no account, there is also no account to delete, export, or recover from our side.

Acceptable use

Use the site for its ordinary purpose: reading the pages and using the tools. Do not attempt to disrupt the service, probe it for a way around its hosting, overload it, or use it as part of an unlawful activity.

Normal browsing is welcome. Linking to a public page is welcome. Search engines may crawl the public pages. These terms do not forbid ordinary crawling of pages that are published for the web.

Do not send malware, and do not present an alarmticar page as if it were a bank, a government office, or a medical provider.

Accuracy and availability

The tools are written to calculate carefully, and the pages explain the rules they use. Even so, a result can be wrong or unavailable. Your device clock, your operating system, your browser, the browser's time zone database, a sleeping computer, and a page that the browser has paused can all change what you see.

The site can be unreachable during a deployment, a hosting failure, or a network problem. A static page that loaded yesterday is not a promise that the same page will load today.

Check a result yourself before you treat it as the basis of a legal, financial, employment, or safety decision.

Alarm and timer limitations

An alarmticar alarm or timer is a web page. It can ring only when that page is still allowed to run and the browser is allowed to play sound.

It may not ring if you close the tab or the browser, if the operating system sleeps, if the browser discards a background tab, or if the browser blocks sound until you interact with the page. A snooze or a repeat rule cannot overcome a closed page.

Do not use alarmticar as the only alarm for something where missing the alert would put someone at risk. A phone alarm, a clock radio, or another device made for that job is the right second line when the stakes are high. The Disclaimer says the same thing from the point of view of the result, not the contract.

Time zones

The world clock and the time zone converter use IANA time zone identifiers and the time zone data built into your browser. A city on the page is tied to one of those identifiers. The converter resolves a wall-clock date and time in the source zone to a single instant, including the cases where daylight saving time skips or repeats an hour, and then formats that instant in the destination zone.

Offsets change. A city is not permanently UTC−5 or permanently UTC+9. Governments change civil time, sometimes with little notice. Two browsers can disagree until both of them have the updated data.

The converter is intended for years 1900 through 2100. Within that range it still depends on the browser's data. It is not a historical archive of every past time-zone law.

Intellectual property

The alarmticar name, the text written for these pages, the site's code, and the sound files shipped with the site belong to their owner. These terms do not transfer that ownership to you.

You may open the pages and use the tools in your browser for personal use and for ordinary work. You may link to the public URLs. You may not copy the site and present the copy as alarmticar, and you may not strip the pages of their text in order to republish them as your own reference.

These terms do not take away your ability to use the tools in the browser in the normal way.

Third-party advertising

Public pages may show ads through Google AdSense. An ad is not part of the tool's result and it is not an endorsement. alarmticar does not control the advertiser's product, price, or customer service.

Questions about an advertiser's own offering should go to the advertiser. Questions about the website can go to contact@alarm.ticaregroup.com.

Changes to the service

Tools, text, cities, sounds, and page structure can change. A tool that exists today may work differently later. These terms can change with the site. The date under the title is the date of this text.

There is no subscriber list, so a change is visible by reading the page rather than by an email announcement.

Limitation

The site is offered as a free general utility. To the extent the law that applies to you allows a limit, alarmticar is not liable for a missed alarm, a wrong offset, a calculator result you relied on without checking, lost local browser data, or time the site was unreachable.

Some places do not allow certain limits. Where that is so, the limit applies only as far as it is allowed. These terms do not choose a court or a national law, because no jurisdiction is published for the operator.

Nothing on the site creates a professional relationship, a warranty of uninterrupted ringing, or a warranty that a time zone rule will match a government notice on the day it changes.

Contact

Questions about these terms go to contact@alarm.ticaregroup.com. Use the Contact page if you are also reporting a bug. There is no separate legal address.
