alarmticar is a general-purpose utility website. The tools help you read a clock, count time, convert a local time, or calculate a date or a duration. They are not professional advice, and they are not a safety system. This page describes those limits. The conditions of use are in the Terms. How the site handles data is in the Privacy page.

General information

The pages explain how each tool works and show a result from the numbers and the clock available to your browser. That result is information from a utility. It is not a legal opinion, a medical instruction, a financial recommendation, or an official time signal.

You are responsible for deciding whether a result is good enough for what you are doing. If the decision has serious consequences, check another source.

Alarm and timer reliability

An alarm or a timer on this site rings in the browser. It is not the alarm app built into a phone, and it cannot wake a device after the tab is gone.

The sound may not play if the browser is closed, the tab is discarded, the device is asleep, the operating system limits background work, or sound is blocked. Headphones, silent mode, and a low volume setting have the same practical effect.

Do not use alarmticar as the only alert for a medication dose, a safety step at work, a transport departure you cannot miss, or an emergency. Those situations need a method that still works when a web page does not. This is a practical limit of browsers, not a dramatic warning. For everyday study, cooking, and exercise, the page is often enough, and it can still fail closed.

Time zone accuracy

The world clock and the time zone converter follow IANA time zone names and the Intl time zone data in the browser you are using. Daylight saving time is applied when that data says the zone is in daylight saving time. A spring gap, when a local time does not exist, and an autumn overlap, when a local time happens twice, are shown rather than quietly rewritten.

The data can be incomplete or late. Governments change offsets and sometimes cancel a planned change. Your browser updates that data on its own schedule, not on ours. Two people looking at the same city in different browsers can briefly disagree.

The converter covers the years 1900 through 2100. Browser data is not a complete history of civil time before modern time zone rules, so an old date can be less trustworthy than a current one. The world clock shows the current moment only. Neither tool uses your IP address or GPS to pick a city.

A UTC offset on the page is the offset for the moment being displayed. It is not a permanent label for the city.

Calculator results

The date calculator counts calendar days and shifts a date by days, weeks, months, or years using civil calendar rules. The age calculator reports an age from a birth date to a date you choose. The hours calculator reports the elapsed time between two clock times, with an optional break subtracted. Overnight schedules are a duration across midnight, not a pay rule.

These are convenience calculations. Do not use them as the final word in a legal filing, a wage dispute, a timesheet argument, a tax position, a medical judgment, or any other decision that needs a qualified person or an official record. The hours calculator is not a payroll or salary calculator. It does not know your rate of pay, your contract, or your local labor rules.

A calculator repeats the inputs you gave it. If the birth date or the shift times are wrong, the result is wrong in the same way.

External advertising

Some pages show advertisements through Google AdSense. An advertisement is separate from the tool and from the explanation under it. The number a calculator prints is not an ad, and an ad is not a result from the tool.

alarmticar does not endorse the advertiser, the product, or the claims in the ad. If an ad looks like a control on the page, treat that as a problem and write to contact@alarm.ticaregroup.com rather than assuming the ad is part of the tool.

Availability

The site can be down, slow, or partly updated. A tool can change or disappear. Local data in your browser can disappear when you clear site data. None of that is presented as a fault-tolerant service with an uptime promise.

Static pages do not give you a queue, a ticket, or a status dashboard. If something important depends on the site being up at a particular minute, do not make the site your only copy of that plan.

Contact

If you find a result that does not match the rules a page describes, send the example to contact@alarm.ticaregroup.com. The Contact page lists the details that make a time-zone or bug report checkable. A message is a report, not a promise that the result will be corrected on a deadline.
